about

We really wanted to release something, something that didn't suck, but also wasn't going to take ages to do. So we decided to do a few acoustic versions of our stuff as we plan to do full band versions in the not to distant future.

we're pretty certain these songs will offend the people they are about.

Track Name: The Thing Is...
Open your ears:

Your moral code is not godly as you think
You are righteous and possessive and your attitude stinks kid
Bit my tongue
For too long
Manipulate, mutate and snake around the heads of morons
I'm done and if you really see through me
You'll realise I lied when I said I was truly sorry
Bide my time
While my teeth grind
Your competence in friendship's looking fucked from here, as the green clears.

If I sing it in the style you like then
Will it maybe get through to your head
I've got more on the line than the sliver of your pride
I'm not sorry, not playing mr nice guy
It's on your head and you've been a prick again

Are you still listening, no?

Never have, I know you never will though
Surprised you hear shit at all, over your ego
Whatever happened to respect and trust and was dependancy a word you used to build yourself up
I know, you know,
And if you ask where next then I will tell you where to go
If you ask where next then I will tell you where to go

I couldn’t stand by your side if I tried
I’ve got no intentions to hide but my snide
I couldn’t stand by your side if I tried
You’ve got no alibi while my back eats your knife

(You know you’ve pushed me,)
(Don’t come back crying when the loneliness comes your way)

If you still feel so fucking proud
how’d you like the sound of us now?

If I sing it in the style you like then
Will it maybe get through to your head
I've got more on the line than the sliver of your pride
I'm not sorry, not playing mr nice guy
It's on your head and you've been a prick again
Track Name: Mother
worthless at her given name is an understatement
she isn’t worthy of the blessing she was given
I take it she was on her own? she’ll claim it proudly
I never asked, but i’m guessing he was waste of her time

I remember meeting you, i struggle to explain
for my age, you should not of been a stranger
consistent battle in my head to call you out on this
but back then i was still a kid, i just excepted it

Seeing your face shroud with pain and disappointment
After the phone call that she made was for your brother
hold it back, grit your teeth breath in easy
What was it that you said? “you don't miss what you never had”

i see through that fucking mother illusion
after everything, she still looks for approval
i aint sorry to say:

she was better off without you.

Better off without you
He was better of without you

We were better off without you
Track Name: 6 Months (Another Song For Your Mixtape)
Its been six months since i left you
i still find myself contemplating if it was right for me to do
guess i still hate you
but how much id miss you, i never knew
Still got your letter on my wall
Im sick of reading it, think i might just tear it to bits
I wonder what your thinking
but i dont wanna ponder who youre sleeping with

Go back inside, it's warmer there
I'll hold you after one more beer
When you stop breathing down my neck
And when I'm over it
Maybe they'll guide you to the light
Maybe you'll see it through the night
Maybe I'll see you through my eyes one day like you said you saw mine

I got a call this evening
They say you don’t stop screaming
and getting fucked up again
I could've died when I heard
He knew you lied all summer
But now it's broken
You caught a boat to chase me
While I was on my knees
You suffocated and warped me
I know you'll be just fine
But you're needing more than time
To settle your bones in a warm place

Go back inside, it's warmer there
I'll hold you after one more beer
When you stop breathing down my neck
And when I'm over it
Maybe they'll guide you to the light
Maybe you'll see it through the night
Maybe I'll see you through my eyes one day like you said you saw mine

I know you love your acoustic songs
so i wrote you one to keep you frozen girl and keep you homesick
for what its worth, i know I’ve got a lot to learn
i still hope he gets you home safe

I know i’ll see you again but i don’t want to
i don’t even wanna know you
